John L. Frullo was my grandfather, and I am thankful he was my introduction to the world of architecture. His impact on my career’s trajectory started when I was very young.

David Gerald Wellington was born on August 18, 1948, in Sac City, Iowa, to Gerald “Tuffy” and Glenrose “Rosie” (Hoff) Wellington. He graduated from Sac City High School in 1966, where he met Charlotte (Wright), who would later become his wife.

Robert (Bob) Jay South passed away peacefully on Dec. 28, 2024, at 87 years old. Bob was born in Worland, Wyoming, on Jan. 11, 1938. Bob’s life was one of creativity, dedication and a deep love for both family and nature.

In 1997, the AIA Wyoming Chapter established the Architectural Education Foundation of AIA Wyoming (AEF-AIAWy) devoted solely to educational purposes, such as assisting Wyoming students in obtaining an architectural education at National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) accredited schools of architecture.

The calendar is intended to educate the public on the value of architecture and the importance of good design. The calendar features 13 images of various project types that are designed by AIA Wyoming architect members.

Tom Ward’s path to architecture began long before he ever set foot in a design studio. Raised in a blue-collar family that hopscotched across the American heartland before settling in Wyoming, he grew up surrounded by builders, makers and problem-solvers.

Stephan A. Pappas has lived a life of service. His dedication to the community and to individuals alike has enabled him to excel in many areas of his life. He currently serves as Wyoming’s Senator for District 7 and is a board member and treasurer of the World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association.
