31 The afternoon concluded with regional architecture firm, Malone Belton Abel’s Duncan Kline, presenting their recently completed BrintonMu- seum project in Big Horn, Wyoming, a museum dedicated to the display of the Brinton family collections and features a mostly “buried” building with a rammed earth wall. Friday evening featured a Wyoming State Board of Architects and Landscape Architects funded Public Impact event at Casper College’s new Music Building where TodWilliams continued his discussion of his firms compelling body of work with feature projects from around the world. “Architectural” desserts were provided in the form of cookies fashioned as protractors, compasses and blueprints of house elevations. The evening concluded with Luis Martinez, project manager of MOA Architecture, providing a tour of the Music Building. Saturday’s workshops included three of Wyoming’s four fellows presenting a discussion on Demystifying Fellowship. Bruce Hawtin, FAIA, Stephen Dynia, FAIA, and Fred Hynek, FAIA, shared their experiences leading up to, becoming and since receiving their respective fellowships in the American Institute of Architects. Houzz’s Michael Stein provided a discussion of how to use the Houzz social media site to promote business in art and architecture followed by Keith Lunsford of Powers Products educating on the subject of fire doors. The workshops concluded with architect Lyle Murtha providing a tour of the Art 321 building. The afternoon continued with AIAWyoming and AEFWyoming holding joint fundraisers via a golf scramble at Three Crowns Golf Course and fly fishing on the North Platte River. The overcast day provided for the perfect fall weather to enjoy the outdoors. The entire Annual Fall conference was a huge success as measured by our conference evaluation forms where the majority of respondent rankings were on the “excellent” side of the ranking and by the attendance of over one hundred attendees. Eleven and a half continuing education credits were gleaned from attendees who attended all sessions. b
