39 NATIONAL ARCHITECTURE WEEK N ationwide, architects are creating a variety of places for us to live, work and play in our com- munities – from your local church to hospitals to schools, homes, offices, stores, and more. All are created with a passion for the architecture profession and a strong commitment to public safety. National ArchitectureWeek, observed every second week of April, is an awareness program focused on celebrating Architects and their achievements and the impact of architecture on our daily lives. This year’s observance is April 13th – 17th, 2015. During this week, architectural tours led by Wyoming Ar- chitects will take place throughout the State. This is a public awareness program to educate Wyoming communities about the role of Architects and Architecture in their lives. AIA Wyoming represents professional architects and allied members throughout Wyoming, providing the architectural community with resources and relationships necessary to improve the quality of the built environment. This organization is the voice of the profession of architecture in Wyoming, serving our members, advancing their values, and providing resources for the design of livable, sustainable places for our citizens. They are dedicat- ed to serving their members, related professionals, and the general public. Membership is open to anyone with a professional or personal interest in ar- chitecture and the creation of, or the appreciation for, the built environment. (http://www.aia-wyoming.org/)
