31 architectural historian for Grand Teton National Park, Betsy Engle. The AIAWyoming Chapter business meeting reported on topics, achieve- ments, and activities of the Board of Directors and the four standing committees. The meeting concluded with the elections of the open positions on the Board. The afternoon sessions started with fun activities facilitated by the Mem- bership Development Committee. An informative presentation called Affordable Workforce Housing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming was given by employees of the Jackson/Teton County planning and affordable housing departments, Alex Norton, AICP, April Norton, and Billie Jennings. Local architects John Stennis, Stephen Dynia, FAIA, and Arne Jorgensen, AIA shared specific project Challenges and Solutions of Affordable Hous- ing in Jackson/Teton County. The Friday evening programwas open and free to the public to attend a program on Affordable Housing Around the World by Avi Friedman, Ph.D. The programwas sponsored by the Wyoming Board of Architects and Landscape Architects in effort to educate the general public on the topic of public health, safety and welfare. On Saturday, the tours of affordable housing projects in Jackson included a project developed by bothThe Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust and Teton Habitat call Daisy Bush . These were led by Jeff Lawrence, AIA, Arne Jorgensen, AIA, and Chris Hancock, Assoc. AIA. The group then toured a project by Dynia Architects call The Grove which was led by Stephen Dynia, FAIA, April Norton, Director of the Housing Depart- ment, and Chet Lockard, AIA.
