2017 Directory

29 committee chairs remain on task and continue to provide the types of programs and activities that allows our members to be well informed and for AIA Wyoming to be recognized in our region and nationally. We recently completed the publication of our annual AIA Wyoming calendar, our resource directory and will be prominently featured in the 2017 Wyoming Architect. Although our conferences have been highly successful in terms of participation (we welcomed 170 architects, sponsors and guests to Jackson), we still seek to reach out to AIA Wyoming architects who have not regularly attended these conferences or have never attended even one of our conferences. Most of these are younger architects. This is of consequence in that over 1/3 of the architects in our state are already old enough to retire. A changing of the guard is eminent and we are trying to find ways to reach out to members so that our good work will contin- ue and our members will continue to thrive. The AIA plays a subtle but very important role in the day to day activities of our members. b
